Our single piped large ottomans feature hand screen printed fabric, produced by First Nations communities at art centres in Outback Australia.
The artwork is unique and tells the stories of the artists land and their people from many generations.

Story: Fresh water goannas inhabit the wetlands of Western Arnhem Land in the billabongs and rivers. They are often sitting on rocks or logs by the water and when they see you they slide into the water. They have long bodies and paddle shaped tails and are often hunted for eating.
The design caprures the Burarr swimming amongst the leave of mandem (lily). The hatching on the body is called rarrk ans comes from the linework of roick art where Kunwinjku people have depicted the world since ancient times.
